The Journey

VietnaMoi’s trip typically lasts 8 days, and is ideal whether you are an enthusiast, emerging collector or connoisseur. Trips normally take place in March and/or October/November (exact dates to be determined). We are happy to help modify or extend your trip  beyond the group experience. The trip in March, for example, is timed align with Art Basel Hong Kong.

  • Enjoy an itinerary catered to the enjoyment of art, culture, and food, guided by Céline Alexandre Pissoort, a specialist in contemporary Vietnamese art who is also a foodie and explorer.

  • Private access to studio visits with internationally renowned artists and emerging talents.

  • Behind-the-scenes visit and special dinner with pioneering and influential gallerists and curators who are leading the contemporary art scene in Vietnam now, into the future.

  • Private access to local collections and collectors' homes.

Included

  • Accommodations at top flight establishments  including Hotel Des Arts, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel, and Anantara Resort and Spa

  • Entry to all exhibits, events and performances indicated in the itinerary

  • All meals, cocktail programs, dining and street food as indicated in the itinerary, including service charges

  • All individual and group airport transfers, domestic flights, and transportation to destinations in the itinerary

Exclusions

  • Tips and extra services not mentioned in the program.

  • International flights. We suggest that you book inbound to Ho Chi Minh City and outbound from Hanoi (VietnaMoi also works with a  local travel agency that can arrange all your flights - recommended).

  • International flights, baggage fees and excess baggage charges

  • Optional services (spa, etc.) , gratuities and tourist tax

  • Incidental expenses at hotels

  • Meals, guides, or transport for experiences not included in the itinerary

  • Life, health and accident insurance

  • Liability for changes in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control (change in flights, cancellations, political disturbances, natural phenomena, etc.)

  • City taxes and other trip related expenses

Terms and Conditions
 

Trip Itinerary: The Trip Itinerary will generally follow the detailed outline above. Circumstances beyond VietnaMoi’s control may require changes or deletions from the Trip Itinerary and the Trip Itinerary is subject to change at VietnaMoi’s sole discretion.

  • Payment/Reservations. Client agrees to pay the total amount listed above for participation on the Trip.  

  • Arrangements. Client's payment will cover items specifically set forth in the Trip Itinerary, which generally includes all transportation, activities, lodging, and dining during the Trip in accordance with the Trip Itinerary.  Client's payment does not cover and Client is responsible for all other Trip expenses including Client's travel arrangements to and from the Trip's destination (including airfare), any artwork purchased on the Trip, and any other incidentals.

  • Cancellation/Refunds. Cancellations received more than sixty days prior to the Trip's start date will receive a full refund of any amounts actually received by VietnaMoi, less a $500 administrative fee per person.   No refund will be provided for cancellations received within sixty days of the Trip's start date.  After the Trip has commenced, no refunds are available, even if Client does not partake in all of the Trip's activities or leaves the Trip early.

  • Insurance. VietnaMoi strongly recommends that Client purchase trip cancellation insurance and travel fully covered in case of illness or accident during the Trip.

  • Participation.  Client is requested to consider his or her health to ensure the ability to participate in all scheduled activities. VietnaMoi bears no responsibility for medical problems, or for any medical costs of Client. All medical evacuation costs are the Client's responsibility.

  • Responsibility/Limitation of Liability. The total liability of VietnaMoi, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, arising out of or related to these terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by Client to VietnaMoi. VIETNAMOI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED, OF ANY KIND OR NATURE.  VietnaMoi acts solely in its capacity as organizer of the Trip.  Client acknowledges that as part of the Trip Client may engage with third parties such as art dealers, art brokers, merchants, carriers, guides, and other travel service personnel.  VietnaMoi bears no responsibility for personal injury, loss, health problems, property damage, or any other losses arising out of or related to the acts or defaults of any such third parties and Client hereby agrees to waive all claims and suits against, release and hold harmless VietnaMoi, its officers, agents, representatives and affiliates for any and all damages or loses arising from or related to the acts or defaults of such third parties.  VietnaMoi is not responsible for any loss or additional expense caused by delays or changes to travel arrangements, illness, weather, acts of God, or any other causes beyond VietnaMoi's reasonable control.

  • Use of Likeness. Client grants VietnaMoi permission to use any and all of Client's voice, image and likeness, with or without using Client's name, in connection with advertising and promoting VietnaMoi's business, including use on VietnaMoi's social media accounts and/or for other purposes deemed appropriate by VietnaMoi in its reasonable discretion, except to the extent expressly prohibited by law.
